积极参政议政建言献策，多次被民建组织评为优秀会员。热心社会公益事业：接受中央电视台书画艺术名家新闻记录特邀专访，探索关于传统艺术的发展与传承，正确引领下一代青少年，前往大别山革命老区慰问贫困学生等。为思源爱民公益基金捐赠书画作品义拍筹款，为“万众一心战疫情"爱心义拍捐赠书画作品，参加民建书画家新春送福等慈善活动。
