牟克昌，男，汉族，1944年11月出生于贵州省黔西县，中共党员，高中文化。自幼喜欢书法，常临摹王羲之、王献之、赵孟頫及各大书贴，多次参加国内书展。现为北京华夏兰亭书画院客座教授，北京华夏邦交国礼书画院副院长，中国书画家协会会员，国家一级书法家，国家一级美术家。

2020年7月参加“狂草醉墨”纪念先贤怀素诞辰1295 年全国书画大展获金奖，受聘为江苏省南京市长江书画艺术研究院名誉院长，被评为“中国当代杰出书画大家”。2020年11月参加全国第二十届“庐山杯”书画大赛获银奖；2020年12月获“一带一路·中华国礼杯”全国书画大赛金奖。
