王继平1956年生，生于浙江宁波，居住于广东省深圳市师从中央美术学院国画系主任姚治华先生，擅长行书、山水画。主要作品:《月下双叙》、《池塘情浓》、《大山月光》、《高原春色》等。

现为中国民族建筑研究会书画艺术专业委员会会员，中国人才研究会艺术委员，中国文化部文化市场艺术中心特约画家，中国国画家协会会员兼培训中心教授，中国青年书画家协会理事，国际羲之书画院名誉院长，中国书法、美术家艺术创作中信终身荣誉教授，深圳市美术家协会会员，深圳书画家协会会员，西安画院院外士，中国国画院艺术教育学院副院长兼教授，香港中国书法家协会会员等。1994年深得中央美院姚治华教授亲炙并毕业于他执教得山水画研究生班。
    主要国画作品参展情况:1996年4月获中国褚遂良文学艺术研究会全国书画名家邀请展二等奖。1997年8月参加中国艺术博览会。1998年1月参加中国首届国画家学艺邀请展作品被国画家双月刊发表。同年9月获第三届中国书法美术家艺术精品展金奖。1999年11月参加首届中国画家水墨小品精品展。2000年12月参加广东身群众美术书法大展。2001年11月获中国文化企业艺术博览会国粹奖。同年12月参加广东省美术书法摄影大展。2002年1月获世界美术大奖。2004年5月获全国教师美术书法作品三等奖。2004年9月获中华艺术华表奖金奖。2006年(谈我对书画同源的认识和看法》被入编2006年中国文艺年志，中国艺术研究院主办。
    书法作品参展情况:获1995年3月国际现代书法集三等奖。1996年6月参加中日书道交流大展。同年9月获第二届王子杯海峡两岸书画大展金奖。1995年8月被授予国际书画艺术名人称号。1996年12月被授予国际书画篆刻艺术名人称号。1997年6月被授子世界书画艺术名人称号。同年7月被授予二十世纪知名艺术家。作品被中国美术报发表评论。2003年6月被人民日报海外版“中华艺苑家”专栏发表并分别被国家级大型专业辞典如世界当代著名书画家真迹博览大典，中国美术全集、中国中青年美术家作品等40余部发表刊登。
    2009年参加清华大学美术高级研修班，并顺利结业。2016年8月被中国文化部评为国家一级美术师称号。

Wang Jiping was born in 1956 in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. He lived in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province and studied under Mr. Yao Zhihua, director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is good at calligraphy and landscape painting. Main works: Double Narration under the Moon, Thick Pond, Moonlight on the Mountain, Spring on the Plateau, etc.

Currently he is member of Chinese national architecture institute professional painting and calligraphy art committee, member of art committee of Chinese society for the study of talent, China's ministry of culture art center special cultural market painter, member of China association of traditional Chinese painters and training center, a professor at the China youth artists association, honorary President of the international xihe painting, Chinese calligraphy, art art citic lifelong honorary professor, shenzhen artists association, member of shenzhen artists association, member of xi 'an art academies lobbyists, vice dean and professor of the Chinese art education college, member of Chinese calligrapher's association of Hong Kong, etc. In 1994, he was deeply taught by Professor Yao Zhihua of The Central Academy of Fine Arts and graduated from the landscape painting graduate class he taught.

Major Works of Traditional Chinese painting exhibition: In April 1996, won the second prize of national Famous Calligraphers and painters Invitational Exhibition of Zhu Suiliang Literature and Art Research Society of China. In August 1997, he attended the Chinese Art Fair. In January 1998, he took part in the first Invitational exhibition of Chinese painters' learning and art, and his works were published by Chinese painters' bimonthly magazine. In September of the same year, he won the gold medal in the third Chinese Calligrapher's Fine Art Exhibition. In November 1999, he took part in the first Chinese painters' ink sketch Exhibition. In December 2000, he took part in guangdong mass Art and Calligraphy Exhibition. In November 2001, he won the Quintessence prize of China Culture Enterprise Art Fair. In December of the same year, he participated in guangdong Art, calligraphy and photography Exhibition. In January 2002, he won the World Fine Arts Award. In May 2004, he won the third prize of national teachers' art and calligraphy works. In September 2004, he won the Gold medal of Chinese Art Watch Award. In 2006, "On my Understanding and Views on the Origin of Painting and Calligraphy" was compiled in the annals of Chinese Literature and Art in 2006, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Arts.

Exhibition status of calligraphy works: third prize of international modern Calligraphy collection in March, 1995. In June 1996, participated in the China-japan Book Road Exchange Exhibition. In September of the same year, he won the gold medal of the second Prince's Cup cross-strait painting and calligraphy exhibition. In August 1995, he was awarded the title of international calligraphy and painting art celebrity. In December 1996, he was awarded the title of international art celebrity of calligraphy, painting and seal cutting. In June 1997, he was awarded the title of world famous artist of calligraphy and painting. In July of the same year, he was awarded the 20th century famous artist. The work was reviewed by The China Art Newspaper. In June 2003, it was published by People's Daily overseas edition "Chinese artists" column and was also published by the national large-scale professional dictionary, such as the world famous contemporary painting and calligraphy exhibition, the complete collection of Chinese fine arts, the works of Chinese young and middle-aged artists and other more than 40 published.

In 2009, I participated in the Fine Arts Advanced Training class of Tsinghua University and successfully completed the course. In August 2016, he was awarded the national First-class Artist by The Ministry of Culture of China.
