张连东，艺名隐掩，中国唐山艺人，墙壁古建写画工艺名家，国际高级工艺美术传承师。 1963年生于河北玉田。自幼酷爱绘画艺术。早年就读于玉田县文化馆美术班。1982年参加中国人民解放军二炮某队，当年参加全军书画展获得嘉奖，并到山东训练团参加8个月的技术学习。1983年底退伍，1990年到县文化馆做零时工，多次参加书画美展并多次获奖。他几十年如一日侵染墙体写画，潜心磨练，深悟中国写画之精髓。他博采众长，以传统技法为根本，锐意创新，笔力苍劲，运用自如，线条流畅，笔法精准，气势雄浑，体现出民间艺人默默无闻，深藏不露，体现出艺术家的博大精深，胸怀天下，忘我无私，直根与民间与世无争，完全靠自己，逐步形成自己独特的绘画艺术风格。后来从事墙体广告，墙体写画、室内墙壁彩绘工艺，文化墙彩绘写画制作，始终坚持《苦干实干，熟能生巧，得到熟练》这个他个人思维，造就了他个人扎实基本功。
Zhang Liandong, artistic name concealed, Chinese Tangshan artist, wall ancient painting craftsman, international senior art and craft inheritor. Born in Yutian, Hebei Province in 1963. From childhood, I loved the art of painting. In his early years, he studied in the art class of Yutian Cultural Museum. In 1982, he participated in the Second Artillery Team of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He won the prize for participating in the Army Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition that year and attended the Shandong Training Group for 8 months'technical study. He retired from the army at the end of 1983 and worked part-time in the County Cultural Museum in 1990. He participated in many art exhibitions of calligraphy and painting and won many prizes. For decades, he has invaded wall painting, devoted himself to practice, and deeply understood the essence of Chinese painting. He takes the traditional techniques as the foundation, is keen on innovation, vigorous brushwork, ease of use, smooth lines, precise brushwork, vigorous momentum, reflecting the obscurity of folk artists, hidden deep, reflecting the artist's broad and profound mind, selfless, rooted in the struggle with the folk, totally on his own. Gradually form their own unique artistic style of painting. Later, he was engaged in wall advertisement, wall painting, interior wall painting technology, and cultural wall painting production. He always adhered to his personal thinking of "hard work, practice makes perfect, get skilled", and created his personal solid basic skills.

2014年12月参加“第十一届德艺双馨中国文艺展示”活动，在唐山赛区初赛荣获书画金奖，河北赛区初赛荣获书画成年D组金奖。12月份在全国德艺双馨总决赛书画荣获银奖。
2015荣获全国“中国梦想杯”书画大赛优秀奖；
2015年荣获“永远跟党走”第十届唐山选区中书画大赛金奖。
2015年底参加“旺万福杯百名书画名家港澳书画大赛”获得优秀奖。2016年9月经“党旗飘飘”全国书画摄影诗文艺术大赛评审委员会专家评审，张连东国画作品《毛泽东画像》荣获特等奖。

In December 2014, he participated in the "Eleventh Deyi Shuangxin Chinese Literature Exhibition" and won the Gold Prize of Calligraphy and Painting in the preliminary contest of Tangshan Competition Area, and the Group D Gold Prize of Adult Calligraphy and Painting in the preliminary contest of Hebei Competition Area. In December, he won the Silver Prize in the Final Competition of National De Yi Shuangxin Calligraphy and Painting.
In 2015, he won the Excellent Prize of the National "China Dream Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
In 2015, he won the gold medal of the 10th Tangshan Selected Area Painting and Calligraphy Competition.
At the end of 2015, he won the Excellent Prize in the "Wangwanfu Cup Hundred Painting and Calligraphy Masters Hong Kong and Macao Painting Competition". In September 2016, Zhang Liandong's Chinese painting "Portrait of Mao Zedong" won the first prize after being appraised by the experts of the judgement committee of the National Competition of Calligraphy, Painting, Photography, Poetry and Art.

In December 2016, he won the first place in Group D of Adult Freehand Brushwork in Tangshan District, Hebei Province, in the 13th Chinese Art Exhibition.
On March 25, 2017, he was appraised fairly, impartially, strictly and earnestly by authoritative experts of the National Calligraphy and Painting Level Committee. He was designated as a first-class artist after being appraised by the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting's Qualification Assessment Committee. He was identified as a Chinese painting artist. Zhang Liandong's works were appraised by the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. The Renge Evaluation Center for Calligraphers and Painters has been recognized.

On January 28, 2019, Zhang Liandong was invited to attend the Qufu Meeting Hall of the Fifth Spring Festival Gala of Chinese Poetry in 2019 as "Public Welfare Ambassador of Calligraphy and Painting Art", and his works were donated to the Organizing Committee for Public Welfare.
