刘士君，男，1960年4月14日出生于沈阳市铁西区，自幼爱好书法。2012年开始学习行草书。曾获得全球全国书法各项大奖。
现为沈阳市铁西区文学艺术界联合会理事，沈阳市书法家协会会员、中国当代艺术家协会员、中国国家书画院特聘书法家，中国东北书画会书法部部长。

刘士君的草书之所以有苦修之功，是因为他作草书，不是胡书乱就，皆基于正统的草书规章，守规矩，不臆造，字字皆书之有源，师出有门，能解读，可辨认，与一些奇形变意的自造草书绝对是天壤之别。刘士君的草书，深依传承，所以从规则上来看，十分切合于佑任倡导的“标准草书”之形，有标准才有价值，能依标准而书才得草书艺术的真根正源，刘士君的草书作品就是这等高贵品质。
