孟昭飞，别署孟之，号竹园斋主，1957年出生，江苏徐州人，教师出身，大学文化。现任中国名人艺术协会副主席、中华书画学会副主席，中国互联网艺术总监，《人民美术报》社副社长，中国书画家协会常务理事，中国翰林书画艺术院副院长，北京东方翰林书画院副院长，北京华夏北海国际书画院客座教授，中国楹联学会书法艺术研究会会员，中国民族建筑研究会书画艺术专业委员会委员、丹青翰龙巴黎国际艺术中心特聘书画家，墨宝收藏签约艺术家，国家一级书法师。

自幼酷爱文学诗书画艺术，勤于文，痴于书，迷于“二王”。习书以楷入手，临学历代名家；行书多研“二王”和赵体，上追魏晋，下摩宋明；篆隶取法秦篆汉碑；草书效仿右军各贴、过廷《书谱》、智永《千字文》等，久习成体，笔耕不辍，师古不泥，逐渐形成端庄秀丽、潇洒俊逸、正大气象之书风。
