佘守国，笔名：野渡人;民族：汉;1956年出生，山西省稷山县人。曾任中铁十七局集团第四工程有限公司工会副主席，高级政工师,中国书法家协会理事，国家一级书法师。中国文化学会艺术委员会主席，世界教科文卫组织首席艺术家，世界教科文卫组织艺术委员会执行委员，世界文艺家联合会理事，中国书法美术家协会副主席，中国国家书画院副院长，中国国际画院终身副院长，台北故宫书画院名誉院长、客座教授.世界文艺家联合会授予“感动世界年度人物”。

2015年3月作品入编唐诗三百首国学修订版，特聘为国学理事会荣誉顾问。2017年作品入选《2017年世界百年巨匠挂历》。2017年2月荣获国家非物质文化艺术传承奖金奖，被授予国家非物质文化艺术传承人。荣获首届中国艺术金像奖金奖。
