著名经济学家、书法家，国家教育咨询委员会委员，原国务院参事，第九、第十届全国政协常委，中华海峡两岸书画艺术家协会主席。

早年毕业于南开大学，先后于南开大学、天津工业微生物研究所和中国科学院微生物所从事教学和科学研究。改革开放后调入国家科委，组织“六五”科技攻关和筹建中国生物工程中心，中国星火总公司。曾担任沿海开放城市北海市副市长，中国星火总公司总工程师，中国味精技术公司董事长，中农资源（上市）监事长。三届15年全国政协委员和全国政协常委，三届国务院参事，至今仍在连任第二届国家教育咨询委员会委员。

Famous economists, calligraphers, members of the National Education Advisory Committee, the former State Council participant, the ninth and Tenth CPPCC Standing Committee, chairman of the calligraphy and Painting Artists Association of both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

He graduated from Nankai University in his early years. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in Nankai University, Tianjin Institute of Industrial Microbiology and Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After reform and opening up, he was transferred to the State Science and Technology Commission to organize the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" to tackle key scientific and technological problems and prepare for the establishment of China Bioengineering Center, China Starfire Corporation. He was deputy mayor of Beihai city of coastal open city, chief engineer of China Star Fire Corporation, chairman of Chinese monosodium glutamate technology company, and director of Chinese agricultural resources (listed). The third 15 years of the CPPCC National Committee and the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, the third counselor of the State Council, is still serving as the second session of the National Education Advisory Committee.

任玉岭受其父擅长书法影响，初小四年天天写小楷与大倣，在教师严格要求下，练就了书法的基本功。进入新世纪后，他的书法一问世就非同凡响，多次获得全国展、两岸展和国际博览会金奖。他出版有三套5册翻译书籍，9套12册科技经济专著，还出版6套9册诗集与书法集等。

Ren Yuling was influenced by his father's good at calligraphy. He wrote small letters and big imitations every day in the fourth year of primary school. He practiced the basic skills of calligraphy under the strict requirements of his teachers. After entering the new century, his calligraphy was remarkable, and won gold medals in national exhibitions, cross-strait exhibitions and international expositions. He published three volumes of 5 volumes of translated books, 9 sets of 12 volumes of science and technology monographs, and 6 sets of 9 volumes of poetry and calligraphy.
